CANADIAN LAKES AMENITIES
Basketball Courts
Canadian Lakes offers one full court at the Alpine Village and one 3/4 court at the Highland Beach area.
Beaches
Strategically located through the Canadian Lakes resort are 5+ sandy beaches. Beach volleyball is popular at Lookout Pointe Beach.
Bicycle Paths
Enjoy over 90 miles of our private roadways for an afternoon ride
Camping
Canadian Lakes Campground offers over 370 private sites available with water and electric hookups to all Canadian Lakes members and their guests.
Clubhouses
Clubhouses are located throughout the resort. The Alpine Haus is located near the Highlands Golf Course and is available for club sponsored
events and it may be rented for special occasions. The Highlands Pro
Shop offers a rental shop for golf and may be rented for special occasions.
The Castle offers a spectacular view of Lake of the Clouds and the
lower lakes and acts as a community center for large functions for
the members such as bingo, dances and more. The Royal Clubhouse is
located in the Royal South area and in addition ot the pro-shop offers
an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, shower room facilities and
the Royal Bar & Grill.
Fishing
Canadian Lakes offers wonderful fishing for Pike, Bass, Bluegill, Perch, Crappie and more in all of the lakes throughout the resort. Current stocking programs are in place. The Little Muskegon River offers the trout enthusiast an opportunity to catch native Brook Trout or Brown Trout.
Golf
Canadian Lakes currently offers the golfing enthusiast 3 private and 2 public courses within their boundaries.
The Royal Golf Course is the 18 hole private course in the Canadian Lakes resort. This championship course will challenge the golfer on both the Royal North front nine and the Royal South back nine ending up at the Royal Clubhouse
The Highlands and Pines
are both 9 hole private courses and offer quality golf for all levels
of play. The Highlands also offers a driving range designed for the
use of irons only. All courses offer power cart and pull cart rentals.
St. Ives Golf Club is an 18 hole championship public course with bent grass fairways, tees
and greens. In addition there is an oversized practice range and large
putting green. The St. Ives Manor Clubhouse offers dining, beverages and a state of the art pro shop.
Tullymore Golf Club opened in 2002 to rave revues and has been rated by Golf Digest as the #1 new public golf course in the United States in 2002.
Horseback Riding
Located adjacent to the resort is the Outback Ranch which offers a wide range of activities including guided trail rides, sleigh rides, custom parties and much more.
Ice Skating Rink
Ice skating is available in the winter at the Highlands recreational area.
Parks
Our parks are multi-usable offering baseball, football, soccer or even kite flying. All parks are set-aside for property owners and their guests to enjoy.
Pools
The Holiday Beach outdoor pool is heated and offers changing rooms & showers and provides extensive patio are for the sunbather. The Royal indoor pool is heated and has a Jacuzzi, sauna and shower room facilities and is a great place to relax any time of the year.
Rentals
Homes and condominiums are available for rent nightly, weekly or annual. Lakes Rentals provides a full time rental management program on a short term or long-term basis.
Tennis Courts
Eight macadam tennis courts with Deco-Turf surfaces are located throughout the development. Four courts are now lighted to extend the hours of use.
